On November 17, 2015, the Board of Commissioners for the Evansville Housing Authority formally adopted and approved the 2016 budget. The budget covers the upcoming calendar year.
EHA must prepare and submit an annual operating budget every year to comply with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requirements. The Commissioners’ approval is due to HUD by December 31.
“Budget approval may seem like a routine thing,” said Rick Moore, EHA Executive Director. “However, this approval was anything but routine. We’re moving into what is sure to be one of the most exciting years in EHA’s history—implementing the first phase of the Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) project.
